The Sunrise Lands

So I'm reading The Sunrise Lands, by S.M. Stirling:

The proprietor of A. E. Isherman's Fine Arms and Armor knew them of old and greeted them beaming under the swinging sigh -- THE RIGHT TO BUY WEAPONS IS THE RIGHT TO BE FREE. (Page 231)

If you don't know why that's funny, you've neglected the classics.

How are you liking that series?

They are the inspiration for that Firefly 'verse world (Which we named Juniper) that I was caling you asking physics/firearms questions for.

I am. Stirling has always been a pretty good writer. I enjoyed the "Mercenary" books he wrote with JEP for example.
